The center part of the Barn (Grade II listed building) was built in the end of 17th century, whereas other parts were built in the beginning of 19th century. The survey was used to enable the architects to plan a complete transformation of the barn into habitable space. The survey information required was for topografical survey of surrounding area and detailed plans of the barn itself. The topographic survey, building and elevational survey were carried out using total station.
